200th Anniversary Special Indulgence for Pilgrimages in the Archdiocese of Kingston
The Archdiocese of Kingston has been granted a Plenary Indulgence from the Paenitentiaria Apostolica for the 200th anniversary year of 2026. There are five pilgrimage churches across the Archdiocese of Kingston where the faithful may visit to receive the plenary indulgence. These churches were selected for their historic significance within the four deaneries of the archdiocese. The churches are: St. Michael the Archangel, Belleville; St. Joseph, Kingston; St. John the Baptist, Perth; St. Francis Xavier, Brockville; and the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Kingston.
